Originality

So, I've been pondering this for quiet some time, but I've never really had the drive to ask; I suppose I didn't want to seem like I was stroking my own ego or looking for attention.
I want to improve my art and I think that the only way to do so is to get this question out of the way-

Am I original?

I favorite a lot of things here on DA and I watch many artists- sometimes stumbling across an obvious Disney or Anime influenced art style and then see the same thing over and over and over again in many artists. It's not because I love those styles (if anything, they both are my least favorite ) it's just I see a pattern of artists choosing to stick with something comfortable and easy for them.
I'm just wondering if maybe my art has taken the same road. I don't really come across art styles like my own ( and this, again, isn't meant to sound egotistical ) but the crazy don't think they're crazy.
I've had many, MANY influences in my life- Leonardo De Vinci, Michelangelo, Hanna Barbera, Chuck Jones, Dr. Suess, Tex Avery, Walt Disney, Don Bluth etc the list goes on. Even some here on DA when I first broadened my style.
I don't want to be generic. I don't want to be that eyesore on the most popular views that everyone favorites because it's something comfortable they've seen before. I want to be different.

Just throw out why you like my style, if you've seen it before, I'd even appreciate links to other artists whom might share the same style as I do. Or even advice to pushing my creativity to the max.

In broad terms, you fall into the realistic anthro style. It's kinda hard to make something completely new and revolutionary, though, so I wouldn't worry about that too much. It's recognizably different from other artists that do the same thing. You sure don't look like a carbon copy of someone like :icongoldenwolf:, :iconpearleden:, :iconrage1986:, or :iconskulldog:. Even within anime styles, I do find people who have styles or methods that aren't just carbon copies of every other anime style. I haven't seen much watercolor like :iconshel-yang: applied on the anime style. Her style may not be 100% original, but it's a defining enough feature to make me remember it.

So there's something that looks different about your art compared to other realistic animal and anthro artists.

I've never really seen any artists with a style like yours, haha

Your art is most definitely original! I don't see much for watercolors anymore, and what I do see is nothing like your work. I must say I enjoy your art for the tender moments you tend to create, and for the soft and warm colors you use to compliment those scenes. In short, your art makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside! :D
