Well, as you can tell by the title- it's true:

I am unemployed.

Eh, not entirely fired-Disney didn't give me the big yellow boot- our attraction has gone down for refurbishment for at least two and a half months and right now with the economy the way it is I'm in deep trouble even for that seemingly small bit of time. All I have right now is about 180 dollars in my savings- rapidly dwindling trying to help my mother pay bills and the like.
I'm even afraid to put the 200 dollars I got collectively from my grandparents from Christmas and my Birthday in the bank because I know the second it's there it'll be gone.
This is not to say I am a reckless shopper- I am quite the tightwad on a regular occasion even with a steady paycheck (though I will admit that plushes are my Achilles Heel). I loose money trying to help out with my family, gas and the typical what have you.

Which is to all boil down to this (and ya KNEW it was comin' ):

I need help.

I've tried to reasonably drop my prices and it's come down to basically the bottom of the barrel without hurting my pride as an artist too much-

I like to be paid first, then I will work on the art. I'm accepting personal checks now and I will privately give you my address and how the check should be given.

Think of it as a belated birthday present maybe? Sorta? Kinda? No? ;-;

I think it's reasonable and you'd be greatly helping an ailing artist- thank you folks! ^^ If you can't I understand. I know times are tough for us all and I'm not gonna fall apart.
